Dr. Sheila Mahapatra has completed her B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from Utkal University, Orissa and M.Tech in Power Systems and Automation from Andhra University, A.P. She completed her doctoral degree from The NorthCap University, Gurgaon. She has a total experience of 12 years in the field of engineering, academics and research. Her areas of interest include Power Systems and AI applications, Power Electronics, FACTS devices. She has been the Departmental Coordinator, Program Coordinator (EEE program), and a member of the Board of Studies while working with The North Cap University, Gurgaon.

She serves as a reviewer for reputed journals like IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution (GTD) – IET Journals, U.K., Journal of Power Technologies, Poland, International Journal of Modelling and Simulation, Taylor & Francis, U.K., Journal of Engineering Science and Technology (JESTEC), Malaysia. She is a student member of Institute of Electrical & Electronics Engineers (IEEE) US and Lifetime Member of The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
