Prof. Vijayalakshmi Bharathi

Prof. Vijayalakshmi Bharathi K has one year of teaching experience and holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Aerospace and also secured a university rank (2011-2015). She then completed an M. Tech degree in Aerospace Engineering specializing in Aircraft Propulsion from IIAEM, Jain University, Bangalore (2015-2017). She completed her academic project from the Indian Space Research Organisation.

She was awarded a Certificate of Excellence by Jain University for her outstanding academic record. She was given a Gold Medal and Best Student Award by the Society of Indian Aerospace Technologies and Industries (SIATI).

Her areas of specialization include Aircraft and Rocket Propulsion, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Helicopters, Orbital Mechanics, Composites and New Engineering Materials.

  1. A computational study on Shockwave Boundary Layer Interaction
  2. Design and Characterisation of Torque Test system
  3. Improvement in Aerodynamic Characteristics Using Biomimetic Structures.
