Professor Dibyadarshini Padhi has six years of experience in teaching, skills training and coordinating various academic, skills development programs in various universities. She completed her Post-Graduation in Mechanical Engineering from SOA University, Odisha specializing in the area of ‘Thermal Science and Heat Power’. She has expertise in teaching subjects such as Heat and Mass Transfer, IC Engine, Power Plant, Fluid Mechanics, Automobile Engineering, Basic Thermodynamics, Metallurgy, and Manufacturing Technology. Her research interests include solar thermal energy generation, solar PV application development and control for enhancing their reliability and popularity in day to day life for solving energy needs in emerging and rural sectors for productive usage. She is a certified master trainer from Skills Council for Green Jobs, and attended the NSDC for getting trained at the technician level in solar PV power plant installation and maintenance. She was deputed as Deputy Coordinator in Centurion University Centre for Renewable Energy and Environment. She had also worked as a skilled trainer for Diesel forklift and BEML Loader at Gram Tarang. She proposes doing her doctoral work on IC engines with alternative fuels.
