Dr. Mohan Krishna S.

Dr. Mohan Krishna. S. was awarded a doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering (sensorless control of induction motor drives) from the Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) in April 2017. He received his B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from Amrita VishwaVidyapeetham, Coimbatore, in 2009 and 2012 respectively. His research interests include, electric vehicles, state observers for induction motors, parameter estimation, adaptive and sliding mode based observation schemes, carbon footprint issues in coal fired power plants, energy sustainability etc.

 He has several research publications in SCI/SCI-E and Scopus indexed journals and also in conference proceedings to his credit. He also serves as a reviewer for IET Control Theory, COMPEL, Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering & Computer Sciences (all SCI) and several other Scopus indexed journals for reviewing manuscripts based on the theory of state observers and control of AC motors. He is also a member of several professional societies like IAENG, SESI and ENFUSE.
